We would like to inform you that the Galeb Summer Camp 2022 will be held in Vranjačka Banja.

This popular touristic location in Serbia is 220 km away from Belgrade (the nation’s capital) and full of several fascinating attractions.

All training for cadets, juniors and seniors are led by Dragan Jović with the assistance of the other coaches from TKD Galeb together with Iranian coaches Seyed Kalife and Reza Imanzade. Coaches for children are from TKD Galeb club, one of the best athletes and now coaches in this club. We are also expecting guest coaches.

We are honoured that Iranian coaches Reza Imanzade and Seyed Kalife are coming as well to Vrnjacka banja this year. Mister Imanzade is the coach of Azad University team as well as coach of the University national team. Mister Seyed is winner of the Best coach Award at World Cup tournament 2017, and head coach of one of the best taekwondo teams in Iran – Azad Islamic team.

When does the bus leave Belgrade for Vrnjacka Banja? When does the bus from Vrnjacka Banja to Belgrade depart?

The bus departs from Belgrade for Vrnjačka Banja on August 10, 2022. approximately 9am in the morning. Return from Vrnjačka Banja to Belgrade is August 17, 2022, after breakfast around 10 am. You will receive the exact time of departure and return in the e-mail a few days before the start of the camp. The place of departure (and return) is the parking lot in front of “House of Flowers” (it is a Museum) at Bulevar kneza Aleksandra Karadjordjevića. The ride takes about 3 and a half hours.

Can you wait for us at the airport?

No, all camp participants organize their own arrival from the airport to the place of departure of the bus and vice versa on the way back. We can suggest taking a taxi from the airport to the bus departure point; the ride takes about 30 minutes and the price is about 35 € (4200RSD) in total, not per person.

The time of departure of the bus does not suit us, we have a later flight. Can you organize our departure from Belgrade to the camp?

No, you have to do it yourself, but we can suggest that you take a taxi from the airport to the Main Bus Station. The ride takes about 30 minutes and the price is approximately 30 € (3500RSD) in total and not per person (you pay in dinars). At the Main Bus Station you can buy a ticket to Vrnjacka Banja (where the camp is). You can also get a ticket online at http://www.bas.rs/en/. The ticket price is around 10 € (1100 RSD).

What is the price of the camp if we come by our own transport?

The price of the camp is unique, it does not decrease if you come by your own transport.

What is the price of the camp for coaches?

The price of the camp is the same for all participants – athletes and coaches.

Does full board include breakfast, lunch, dinner?

Yes. All three meals are included in the price of the camp.

When does the registration start?

Upon arrival at the hotel, you will receive a paper stating the time when the registration is scheduled for you, ie. your team.

How many trainings are there per day, can you send us the schedule?

You have two trainings a day, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon. You will receive the schedule upon arrival at the camp.

What equipment do we need to bring?

All camp participants must bring their own equipment for training –chest protector,helmet, mouthpieces, gloves, sensor socks, shin and forearm guards, suspender for their personal use.

Na Galebovom letnjem kampu učestvujem još od malena, od svojih pionirskih dana, pa sve do danas. Mogu sasvim objektivno da kažem kako je to jedan od najboljih kampova za tekvondiste u celom svetu. Kroz njega je prošao veliki broj evropskih, azijskih, afričkih, svetskih, pa i olimpijskih medalja. Ponosna sam zato sto, već dugi niz godina imam priliku da budem deo takvog događaja i treniram sa vrhunskim borcima iz celog sveta. Smatram da su atmosfera, energija i kvalitet treninga na veoma visokom niovu kao i mogućnost razmenjivanja znanja, tehnika, stilova i sparing partnera. Drago mi je što se, nakon godinu dana pauze zbog korona virusa, ove godine tradicija održavanja kampa nastavlja.

Prisustvujem Galebovom kampu vec 10 godina. Jos od kadetskih dana kada sam prvi put otisla na kamp ni jedne godine nisam propustila, u tim mladjim uzdrastima je veoma zabavno bilo, pored treninga su uvek organizovane i ostale svakodnevne aktivnosti, tada sam stekla prijateljstva za ceo zivot. Nekoliko nas iz prvog tima je jos uvek tu i svake godine rado odlazimo u Vrnjacku Banju. Pored vrhunskih trenera iz celog sveta imamo priliku da treniramo i sa vrhunskim sportistima, Olimijcima, svetskim sampionima, sto meni posebno znaci. Bas na tom kampu sam se spremala za Olimpijske igre, imamo odlicne uslove za trening i znanje najboljih trenera sveta koji su radi da nam to i prenesu, svake godine naucimo nesto novo, upoznamo nove ljude i imamo priliku za druzenje a atmosfera je uvek sjajna, sto ovaj kamp cini posebnim.?

I have had the oportunity to train and learn from one of the best and most experienced Taekwondo coaches,Mr. Dragan Jovic and his team. Participating in Galeb Summer camp over the years gave me many beautiful memories in and out of the mat. Great athletes, Olymians, World and European champions and also amazing coaches are participating so i gain a lot from everyone. Made some great friendships that last until this day. The camp is taking place in a beautiful accomondation where you can find everything you need nearby. One of the best options to start the year for every athlete and coach.

Skoro 20godina se bavim ovim sportom i od samog pocetka sam clan tekvondo kluba Galeb. Jedan od meni najdrazih dogadjaja koji organizuje ovaj klub jeste Galebov letnji kamp. Od 2007 pa do ove godine sam prisustvovala svakom kampu ali zelja za znanjem, posvecenost i energija koji osetim tamo je jedinstvena i raste iz godine u godinu. Znam da me tamo uvek ocekuje nedelju dana teskog rada, ali isto tako i mnogo lekcija, novina i dobrih boraca. Ali za sve to najvece zasluge imaju Gale, Sead i Reza koji svojom energijom i znanjem trening podignu na najvisi moguci nivo i zato mislim da se ljudi vracaju svake godine tamo. Tokom svih ovih godina sam uz ovaj kamp odrasla, napredovala u svakom mogucem smislu i stekla mnogo prijatelja zato mu se i radujem svake godine.

Talking about Serbian camp, the camp was offering a good training schedule and was very well organised. I was a championship then.
